MIDLAND - Several Midland stores were evacuated on Friday while police investigated a suspicious package.
Around noon someone at Natural Grocers on North Loop 250 called Midland Police about a strange looking lunchbox.
Natural Grocers, and other stores including a nearby Ashley Furniture, Glamour Nails, State Farm and Maurice's were evacuated.
The lunchbox was x-rayed and determined to be harmless.
