RANKIN - The Rankin Independent School District is looking to pass a big bond in the upcoming elections.
They're asking for $28.5 million dollars.
The new money will be used for new classrooms and science labs, a music and band hall, a two story library and student commons and a 500 seat auditorium.
The cash would also go for new administration offices, a new practice gym and locker rooms and a 9,000 square foot vocational tech building.
The bond will be on the ballot for the upcoming May 9 elections.
