ODESSA - A man was arrested in Odessa over the weekend for intentionally hitting a truck with his vehicle.
Officers were called out to a hit and run crash on University and Andrews Highway just before midnight on Sunday.
When they arrived, the 20-year-old victim told them he had been in an accident with an SUV driven by Robert Cervantez.
The victim said Cervantez followed him from the intersection of university and west county road to the 2700 block of Halley.
He was flashing his lights and shining a spotlight at the victim's truck the whole time.
Cervantez then got in front of the truck, put his vehicle in reverse and hit the truck.
When the victim followed him to get the license plate, Cervantez struck the truck again.
Cervantez is facing felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
