32-year-old Shawna Andrews

Odessa Police arrested Andrews on 4-19-15 at approximately 0221 hours for Possession of Methamphetamine "State Jail Felony", Possession of a Dangerous Drug "Class A Misdemeanor", and for six outstanding warrants. Officers observed a brown 1999 Chevrolet Sebring traveling northbound in the 2000 block of Andrews Highway.

Officers ran a computer check on the license plate and it came back to a white Ford truck. Before officers could initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle immediately turned eastbound onto 23rd Street and stopped in the 400 block of East 23rd Street. Three subjects immediately exited the vehicle and began walking southbound in the 2100 block of North Hancock.

All three subjects had outstanding warrants and were placed into custody. One of the subjects, identified as Andrews, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and Levofloxacin pills without a prescription. Andrews was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.

20-year-old David Lujan Holguin

Odessa Police arrested Holguin on 4-20-15 at approximately 0930 hours for Manufacture or Delivery of Cocaine "1st Degree Felony", Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon "Class A Misdemeanor", and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Grant in reference to a male subject that was passed out in the driver's seat.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject occupying a silver 2014 Nissan Altima, identified as Holguin. Officers observed a black pistol in plain view near the center console. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered twenty-one bags of cocaine and five bags of marijuana. The total weight of the cocaine was approximately 58.83 grams. Holguin was charged and arrested accordingly.

27-year-old Christopher Silva

Odessa Police arrested Silva on 4-19-15 at approximately 1455 hours for Possession of Cocaine "3rd Degree Felony" and Assault Causing Bodily Injury (Family Violence) "Class A Misdemeanor". Officers responded to the 2700 block of Roger in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 28-year-old female, who had visible injuries on her nose cheek, arm, elbow, and shoulder. Officers also made contact with the female's boyfriend, identified as Silva. Investigation revealed that after they both got into an argument, Silva threw a phone at his girlfriend and then pushed her.

The victim reported that Silva then punched her in the face multiple times. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Silva was placed into custody for assault causing bodily injury. Officers searched Silva and discovered over a gram of cocaine in his front right pocket. Silva was charged and arrested accordingly.

24-year-old Adolfo Pargas

Odessa Police arrested Pargas on 4-20-15 at approximately 1619 hours for Assault on a Public Servant (Warrant) "1st Degree Felony". While an off-duty officer was at Wal-Mart West (2450 NW Loop 338), they observed a male subject who recognized as being a wanted felon.

Officers made contact with the male subject, identified as Pargas. Dispatch confirmed that Pargas had a first degree felony warrant for assault on a public servant. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Pargas was charged and arrested accordingly.

48-year-old Roman Ortega

Odessa Police arrested Ortega on 4-19-15 at approximately 0402 hours for Manufacture or Delivery of Cocaine "1st Degree Felony" and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers responded to 1201 West 2nd Street (Westerner Motel) in reference to suspicious activity.

Dispatch reported that the complainant advised that people were doing methamphetamine in their room. Upon arrival, officers knocked on the door and made contact with a male subject, identified as Ortega. Officers asked for consent to search the room and Ortega gave consent to search.

Officers discovered marijuana on the night stand. Officers then searched Ortega and discovered approximately 15.1 grams of cocaine in his pockets along with $1452 in cash. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Ortega was charged and arrested accordingly.

45-year-old Clarence Dannar

Odessa Police arrested Dannar on 4-20-15 at approximately 2355 hours for a felony parole violation warrant for burglary. Officers responded to 6th and Dixie in reference to a medical call. Dispatch advised a male subject was passed out in a white truck. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject sleeping in a truck.
