Meetings to be Held This Week Regarding Possible Gas Pipeline in Big Bend

BIG BEND - Talks of a natural gas pipeline in the Big Bend continues to spark controversy.

The pipeline company is holding several meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The "Not in Our Big Bend" opposition group and local landowners are expected to be there to get some answers.

The first meeting will be Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the Presidio Activity Center.

If you can't make that one, another meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night at the Alpine Civic Center.

The last meeting will kick off at Community Hall in Fort Stockton at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
