ODESSA – Odessa Police are investigating after two reported sexual assaults in Odessa over the past two days.
The first report happened on Saturday afternoon in the 3000 block of Bonham.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9 that an unknown Hispanic male picked up a woman in a white Ford SUV in the area of University and Maple and gave her a ride home.
Once they arrived at the victim's home, the Hispanic male followed her from behind and attacked her in front of her home and fled the scene in a white Ford SUV.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male described as heavy set.
The second report happened early Sunday morning in the 4600 block of Oakwood.
When officers arrived on the scene, a victim reported to police that she was sleeping with her windows open. When she woke up, she found a masked stranger next to her bed.
According to the report, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim and fled the scene before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a man, approximately 5'6” tall, wearing a mask and a gray shirt.
Police say they don't believe the two reports are related.
