Howard County Volunteers Respond to Several "Suspicious" Fires

HOWARD COUNTY - Howard County Volunteer Firefighters were busy overnight.

The first call came in around 7 p.m.

An oil and gas line ruptured about 18 miles north of Big Spring after worker hit a line.

Luckily, there was no fire and no injuries.

Then around 9:15 p.m., they got another call about a vehicle fire in Sand Springs on the north service road of Interstate 20.

The car was inside a repair shop and crews were able to put it out before it spread to other cars.

Then at 4 a.m. Thursday morning, there was another vehicle fire in the driveway of a house in Coahoma.

There were no injuries and it was put out but fire officials are calling it suspicious.
