Midland Memorial Hospital Press Release
AT&T technicians worked for most of the day on Tuesday April 14th to locate and remediate a problem with the under-street telephone lines servicing the primary hospital campus as well as other business in the area, and were able to partially restore telephone service at around 10:00 p.m.
However, due to the nature of the issue, service continued to fluctuate after that time for several hours. MMH continued to monitor the telephone service overnight to ensure it was returned to full reliability.
At this time, service has continued uninterrupted for several hours. MMH has now officially resumed standard operations of the PBX call center and other telephone services. Monitoring will continue to ensure no issues remain.
AT&T has committed to providing a root cause analysis of the issue, and MMH will work with AT&T to ensure that issues are identified and corrected as quickly as possible in the future.
