ODESSA – One man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred on Friday morning.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the 400 block of East 49th Street in reference to a vehicle that had been stolen.
When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with a 45-year-old female who told police that an unknown male took her white 2014 Nissan Armada while it was parked in her driveway.
The victim told police that when she attempted to stop the suspect from taking her vehicle, the man struck her with the vehicle knocking her to the ground.
About 12 hours later, DPS Troopers informed Odessa Police that they located the vehicle in the area of University and West Loop 338.
The driver was identified as 28-year-old Joseph Duran.
