Man Shot Several Times in Odessa, Police Searching For Suspects

ODESSA – One man is recovering after being shot several times on Monday night in Odessa.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they responded to a gunshot victim call in the 1400 block of South Washington just after 11 p.m.

When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with 22-year-old Jacob Aguilar who told police that he had been shot several times by unknown suspects.

According to the report, Aguilar told police that he was standing in his front yard when two subjects ran up to him and began shooting at him, hitting his multiple times in the legs.

Both suspects fled the scene in a dark colored SUV.

Aguilar was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, heavy set, wearing a red shirt and black shorts. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, thin build, wearing a black shirt and red shorts.
