ODESSA - After almost a six hour ordeal, a barricaded suspect situation in Odessa has ended peacefully.
As NewsWest 9 reported, Odessa Police were called to a home near 12th and Hancock around 6:50 a.m. Sunday in reference to a family disturbance.
An investigation revealed that 47-year-old Scott Johnson threatened his 44-year-old wife with a knife and refused to come out of the home and barricaded himself inside.
A search warrant was later obtained for the residence and an arrest warrant was also issued for Johnson but he surrendered without incident around 12:30 p.m.
Johnson has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
