32-year-old Cristian Manriquez

Odessa Police arrested Manriquez on 3-30-15 at approximately 1432 hours for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Probation Violation), a 1st Degree Felony. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Anderson in reference to a wanted subject. After a long standoff, a subject matching the suspect's description eventually came out of the residence. The subject was identified as Manriquez, who was charged and arrested accordingly.

22-year-old George Contreras

Odessa Police arrested Contreras on 3-29-15 at approximately 2222 hours for Manufacturing or Delivery of Cocaine "1st Degree Felony", Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon "Class A Misdemeanor", and for five outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded to the Ector County Coliseum to assist the ECSO.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with an ECSO deputy, who advised she observed what appeared to be a pistol in front of a male subject's pants. Officers made contact with the subject, identified as Contreras, who was found to be in possession of a handgun. Investigation revealed Contreras did not have a concealed handgun license.

Officers searched Contreras and discovered nine bags of cocaine, weighing approximately 4 grams. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Contreras was charged and arrested accordingly. The handgun and bags of cocaine were tagged into evidence.

28-year-old Jeannie Riley

Odessa Police arrested Riley on 3-28-15 at approximately 0531 hours for Manufacture or Delivery of Methamphetamine "1st Degree Felony", Possession of a Dangerous Drug "Class A Misdemeanor", and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded to 2925 East Highway 80 (Motel One) in reference to a disturbance.

Dispatch advised that individuals had been fighting all day inside a motel room. Upon arrival, officers made contact with one of the involved parties, identified as Riley. Officers searched Riley and discovered small plastic baggies known for distribution. Officers discovered several Tramadol Hydrochloride pills and two bags of methamphetamine.

The total weight of the methamphetamine was approximately 7.2 grams. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Riley was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. The methamphetamine and pills were tagged into evidence.

17-year-old Alexandrea Snowden

Odessa Police arrested Snowden on 3-28-15 at approximately 1229 hours for Possession of Cocaine "2nd Degree Felony", Tampering with Physical Evidence "3rd Degree Felony", and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2000 Dodge Neon in the 3800 block of Andrews Highway.

The driver of the listed vehicle was identified as Snowden. While making contact officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming out of the listed vehicle. Officers observed a bag containing several packages of marijuana on the pavement next to the vehicle. Officers reviewed their in-car video and observed the bag being tossed from the driver's seat.

Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a plastic bag containing multiple packages of marijuana and three bags of cocaine. The total weight of the cocaine was approximately 9.7 grams. Snowden admitted to officers that the marijuana found on the pavement was her property.

Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Snowden was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. The bags of cocaine and bags of marijuana were all turned into criminalistics as evidence.

34-year-old Michael Ponce

Odessa Police arrested Ponce on 4-1-15 at approximately 0142 hours for Assault by Strangulation (Family Violence) "3rd Degree Felony" and for four outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded to the 200 block of Judkins in reference to a disturbance. Dispatch advised that the actor had a knife.

Upon arrival, officer made contact with a 37-year-old female and her boyfriend, identified as Ponce. Investigation revealed that after they got into an argument, Ponce grabbed a plastic cake top and held it against his girlfriend's face. Ponce proceeded to choke his girlfriend, making her unable to breathe. Ponce was charged and arrested accordingly.

24-year-old Roberto Luna, Jr.

Odessa Police arrested Luna on 3-29-15 at approximately 1623 hours for Assault by Strangulation (Family Violence), a 3rd Degree Felony. Officers responded to 2735 East 8th (Southgate Apartments) in reference to an assault victim. Upon arrival, officers made contact with an 18-year-old female and her common-law husband, identified as Luna.

Investigation revealed that after they got into an argument, Luna grabbed his common-law girlfriend by the throat, making her unable to breathe. Luna admitted to officers that he had choked his common-law girlfriend. Luna was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.

28-year-old Jacob Patino

Odessa Police arrested Patino on 4-2-15 at approximately 0142 hours for Assault by Strangulation Family Violence (Warrant) "3rd Degree Felony", Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility (Warrant) "3rd Degree Felony", and False Identification – Fugitive From Justice (Warrant) "Class A Misdemeanor".
