HOBBS, N.M. - Two Hobbs teens were sentenced on Monday for murder.
Santana Serrano and Deandre Gonzales were handed a life sentence with the possibility for parole in 30 years.
They were both tried for first degree murder after the shooting death of 16-year-old Daniel Garcia last year.
Garcia was shot in the area of Selman and Byers in May of 2014.
According to the report, it started as a fight between Gonzales and Garcia.
