ODESSA – An Odessa man is behind bars following a disturbance.
Odessa Police were called out to the 1500 block of Doran on Tuesday night.
When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with 35-year-old Adrian Resendez and a 43-year-old female.
An investigation revealed that Resendez and the female got into an argument, Resendez pushed the female to the ground and attempted to drag her though the living room, down the hallway and into a bedroom.
The victim told police that when she attempted to get away from Resendez, he choked her by placing his arm around her neck and used his open hand to choke her, making her unable to breathe.
Police say the victim sustained bodily injury to her knees and arms.
