HOBBS, N.M. – A Hobbs, New Mexico, man is dead following a weekend bicycle accident.
Hobbs Police tell NewsWest 9, the accident happened in the 300 block of West Navajo on Sunday afternoon.
Officials tell NewsWest 9, a 2007 Ford Mustang and a man on a bicycle were both traveling east when the bicyclist attempted to cross the street and was hit by the Mustang.
The bicyclist, 82-year-old Eulalio Segundo of Hobbs, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Ford Mustang wasn't injured.
