TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS - A crash during a police chase in Travis County left one Midland woman dead and a Midland man in critical condition.
The NBC affiliate in Austin, KXAN, is reporting that Travis County Sheriff's started chasing a man that ran a red light.
He didn't stop when police tried to pull him over.
During the chase, deputies say he began to weave between lanes.
That's when he drove into traffic near Murfin Road and crashed head-on with another vehicle.
In that car was 26-year-old Cristina Rincon Mendoza from Midland.
Another man from Midland in his 20's was flown to UMC Brackenridge with critical injuries.
The driver that police were chasing was also killed in the crash.
