ODESSA – One man is recovering following a shooting in Odessa on Saturday morning.
Police tell NewsWest 9, the shooting happened in the 500 block of Golder around 8:15 a.m.
When officers got to the scene, they found 53-year-old Samuel Valencia shot multiple times.
Valencia was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury. He's currently listed in fair condition.
According to the report, an unknown person shot Valencia then got into a dark colored older model Trans Am and fled the scene westbound on 5th Street.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a shaved head, in his 30's, wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
