BIG SPRING – Autopsy results have been released in connection with last week's deadly train crash that killed a Big Spring man.
As you may recall, 35-year-old Roy Cervantes was hit on the tracks at FM 700 and Interstate 20.
According to a press release from the Howard County Sheriff's Office, a search warrant was executed at a residence in reference to the investigation.
During the search, numerous items of evidentiary interest were discovered and collected.
Officials say autopsy results showed Cervantes died from multiple gunshot wounds, prior to being placed on the railroad tracks.
