LEA COUNTY - Two people are behind bars after being busted with lots of drugs.
The Lea County Drug Task Force were notified of two cars driving from Albuquerque to Hobbs to distribute methamphetamine.
They located and pulled over the first car where they found nearly two grams of marijuana and three grams of methamphetamine.
The driver, 22-year-old Marco Wood, was arrested.
They then located the second car in a parking lot on Carlsbad Highway.
They found 174 grams of methamphetamine, 70 grams of heroin and 110 grams of hydroponic marijuana, along with a handgun.
In all, the street value of the drugs was nearly $27,000.
The driver of that car, 41-year-old Michael Boyd, was arrested.
