Odessa Police Department Press Release
33-year-old Bobby Eubanks
Odessa Police arrested Eubanks on 3-2-15 at approximately 1536 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a State Jail Felony. Officers responded to the 2200 block of West 81st Street in reference to a recovered stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with an ECSO deputy who had a male subject detained.
The suspect was identified as Eubanks, who admitted to OPD that he had been operating a stolen 2010 Nissan Altima. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Eubanks was charged and arrested accordingly. The stolen Altima was returned to its owner.
29-year-old Bridgett Christensen
Odessa Police arrested Christensen on 3-4-15 at approximately 1426 hours for Credit Card Abuse (Warrant), a State Jail Felony. While on patrol, officers made contact with a subject in the 2000 block of Maurice Road, identified as Christensen. Dispatch advised Christensen had a felony warrant for credit card abuse. Christensen was charged and arrested accordingly.
56-year-old Willie Russell and 19-year-old Stephanie Maldonado
Odessa Police arrested Russell on 3-1-15 at approximately 1458 hours for a felony warrant for a parole violation. Odessa Police also arrested Maldonado for Possession of Cocaine “State Jail Felony” and Theft “Class C Misdemeanor”. Officers conducted a traffic stop on maroon Ford Expedition in the 2800 block of North Grandview.
The front right passenger of the listed vehicle was identified as Maldonado and the back right passenger as Russell. While making contact with the occupants inside the listed vehicle, officers could smell marijuana coming from it. Officers observed Maldonado making furtive movements towards the glove compartment.
When officers asked Maldonado what she was hiding in the glove compartment, she advised she was closing it. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered cocaine inside the glove compartment. Investigation revealed Russell had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Both subjects were charged and arrested accordingly.
49-year-old Greg Martin
Odessa Police responded to 9th and Tom Green in reference to possible narcotics activity in a black Camaro. Upon arrival, officers observed a black 2012 Chevrolet Camaro in an alley at 9th and Tom Green. Officers made contact with the driver of the listed vehicle, identified as Martin.
Officers observed syringes on the center console. Officers searched Martin and discovered glass pipe used for heroin. Martin was also found to be in possession of black tar heroin. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Martin was charged and arrested accordingly.
