Man Stabbed at Odessa Bar, Police Searching For Suspects

ODESSA – One man is recovering after being stabbed outside at an Odessa Bar on Tuesday night.

The stabbing happened at the Grant Street Bar and Grill around 11:30 p.m.

According to the report, police were called out to Medical Center Hospital in reference to a stab victim.

When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the victim who had been stabbed at the bar.

The victim, 22-year-old Enrique Chavez, told police that after he got into a verbal altercation with two unknown males inside the bar, then they went outside where Chavez was assaulted.

Chavez was stabbed during the assault and was later taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury.

The first suspect are described as a Hispanic male, wearing a blue hat, approximately 20 years old, around 5'6" tall and weighing 190 pounds.

The second suspect is also a Hispanic male, wearing a red sweatshirt and a red hat, approximately 20 years old, around 5'6" tall and 190 pounds.

No other details about suspects were given.
