MIDLAND, TEXAS—Midland College (MC) is fortunate to have one of the largest pools of private student scholarships among community colleges nationwide.
Thanks to the wonderful philanthropic spirit of the Midland community, numerous MC students are able to reap the benefits of obtaining financial assistance for their tuition, books and living expenses.
On Thursday, March 5, the Midland College Foundation will honor some of MC's scholarship recipients and the donors who made the scholarships possible at a luncheon at Midland Country Club beginning at 11:30 a.m. The keynote speaker will be David Smith, executive director of Abell-Hanger Foundation.
Lesley Isaacs, MC scholarship & special projects coordinator, said, "The Midland College Foundation is excited and honored to host the inaugural Scholarship Banquet. This event will bring together our generous donors and scholarship recipients at Midland College."
