MIDLAND – One man has been charged following a shots fired call in Midland on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called out to the 4400 block of West Illinois around 3:20 p.m. with a male and female arguing.
Witnesses told police that they saw a man with a gun and heard a gunshot.
The City of Midland tells NewsWest 9, the man, later identified as 30-year-old Anthony Martin, drove away from the scene and about 45 minutes later drove past the crime scene where police saw him and conducted a traffic stop.
We're told that a shell casing was found inside of the Martin's vehicle and that he shot through the roof of his vehicle.
Martin has been charged with deadly conduct.
