Texas Department of Transportation officials have approved about 200 road projects around Texas.
That's after the addition of $1.74 billion to the Highway Fund was voted in during the past election.
$71 million of the proposition one funds will be going to projects in West Texas.
Over in Midland County, about $18 million will be used to fix areas of Interstate 20 close to FM 1788 and West Loop 250, as well as relocate ramps and add turning lanes.
Another $7 million will go to make improvements to state highway 176 in Andrews County and $5 million will be spent to fix areas of FM 3263 in Martin County.
Funds will also be used to fix FM 11 in Pecos County, West Loop 338 in Ector County, Interstate 10 in Reeves County and State Highway 349 in Upton County.
Meanwhile, $3 million will be set aside to fix traffic signals around the area.
