Man, Woman Behind Bars After High Speed Chase in Presidio

PRESIDIO - A high speed chase and lots of drugs landed a man and woman behind bars in Presidio.

Around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, officers tried to pull over a truck who didn't stop at a stop sign.

As the officer walked to the truck, the pick-up took off.

The officer chased the suspect through several streets reaching speeds of 60 miles per hour.

During the chase, the officer saw occupants throw out some brown taped bundles.

It turned out to be 106 pounds of marijuana.

The truck finally pulled over in a yard of a house.

The female driver was identified as Ebilis Grado.

During questioning, she told officers that a male passenger had jumped out and then showed officer where she had picked him up.

The man, Antonio Rodriguez, was found underneath a bed in the house.

Both are facing charges for the chase and drugs.
