37-year-old Ana Marie Parker

Odessa Police arrested Parker on 2-26-15 at approximately 1113 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a State Jail Felony. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a white 2014 Ford F-150 in the 1300 block of West 20th Street. The driver of the listed vehicle was identified as Parker.

Investigation revealed that the listed vehicle had originally been reported stolen earlier that day from the 1600 block of Sunset. Parker was transported to the police station and interviewed by detectives. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Parker was charged and arrested accordingly.

30-year-old Alfredo Chavez

Odessa Police arrested Chavez on 2-24-15 at approximately 1100 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. On 2-21-15, a stolen red Ford F-350 was reported to the Odessa Police Department. The owner of the vehicle reported that the offense occurred at 1101 Fitch (Arbor Terrace Apartments).

Through the course of the investigation, detectives received information that an Alfredo Chavez had stolen the listed vehicle. On 2-24-15, Chavez was interviewed by detectives at the police station and admitted to taking the vehicle. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, a warrant was issued and Chavez was arrested.

45-year-old Matilde Olivas, Jr.

Odessa Police arrested Olivas on 2-25-15 at approximately 1338 hours for Failure to Stop and Render Aid (Warrant – Gone Off Bond) "3rd Degree Felony", Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor", and for four misdemeanor warrants. Officers observed a white GMC truck traveling in the 600 block of East Clements with an expired inspection sticker.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle in the 600 block of Honeysuckle and the driver was identified as Olivas. While making contact with Olivas, officers could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the listed vehicle. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a bag of marijuana underneath the driver's seat.

Dispatch advised Olivas had five warrants out for his arrest, including a felony warrant for failure to stop and render aid. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Olivas was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

24-year-old Carlos Chavez

Odessa Police arrested Chavez on 2-27-15 at approximately 0219 hours for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility "3rd Degree Felony", Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor", Possession of Methamphetamine "State Jail Felony", and for a misdemeanor warrant.

Officers observed a tan 2013 Nissan Altima traveling westbound in the 1800 block of East 42nd Street fail to stop at the red light at 38th Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the front passenger was identified as Chavez. A warrant check revealed Chavez had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest.

Officers searched the listed vehicle and Chavez was found to be in possession of marijuana. Chavez was arrested for the marijuana and warrant and was transported to the ECLEC. While Chavez was at the jail, ECLEC jail located a bag of methamphetamine concealed on his person. Chavez was charged and arrested accordingly.

43-year-old Jeffery Crawford

Odessa Police arrested Crawford on 2-26-15 at approximately 0015 hours for Possession of Heroin "State Jail Felony" and for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded to 15th and Grant in reference to a suspicious person that was in possession of a red air compressor.

While searching for the suspicious person, officers located a red air compressor in front of a residence in the 1500 of North Hancock. Officers made contact with a subject at the residence, identified as Crawford. A warrant check revealed Crawford had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Crawford was also found to be in possession of two syringes and a metal spoon with a black tar substance on it. The substance tested positive for heroin. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Crawford was charged and arrested accordingly.

40-year-old Lanette Kerr

Odessa Police arrested Kerr on 2-25-15 at approximately 0133 hours for Possession of Cocaine, a State Jail Felony. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt at Dixie and the I-20 that had a defective brake lamp. The driver of the listed vehicle was identified as Kerr.
