Midland Police Locate Two Suspects in Grassland Estates Vehicle Burglaries

MIDLAND – Two people have been identified as being involved in a string of car burglaries in the Grassland Estates subdivision.

Midland Police tell NewsWest 9, 30-year-old Alicia Lewis and 29-year-old Isaac Carrasco are the suspects.

Officials say the burglaries took place between January 1 and February 5.

We're told that with the cooperation of Odessa Police, Midland Police detectives were able to interview five people and Lewis and Carrasco were identified as suspects.

Officials believe that the two are responsible for at least five vehicle burglaries but they could be connected to more cases.

Lewis and Carrasco were already being held at the Ector County Detention Center on previous charges.

Lewis is facing charges of burglary of a motor vehicle, forgery and fraudulent use of identifying information and Carrasco is facing charges of burglary of a motor vehicle.
