HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs man got locked up after he crashed a vehicle through several trailer fences while he was intoxicated.
When authorities arrived at the 400 block of East Castle on Sunday morning, 33-year-old Jose Melgarejo-Landa told them he couldn't turn left because something was wrong with the wheel.
He also claimed that he couldn't stop and admitted to smoking spice.
An investigation revealed that he had driven through several chain link fences, destroyed a dog house and damaged a water line.
Melgarejo-Landa is now facing multiple charges including DWI and reckless driving.
