Odessa Police Department Press Release
19-year-old Kevin Luna
Odessa Police arrested Luna on 2-21-15 at approximately 2051 hours for Evading in a Motor Vehicle (Warrant) “3rd Degree Felony” and for four outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers observed a black 2011 Chevrolet Camaro traveling in the area of Crane and Clements with an expired inspection sticker.
The driver of the listed vehicle was identified as Luna. Dispatch advised Luna had five warrants out for his arrest, including a felony warrant out of Pecos County for evading in a motor vehicle. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Luna was charged and arrested accordingly.
24-year-old Nathaniel Peasley
Odessa Police arrested Peasley on 2-21-15 at approximately 1457 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a State Jail Felony. Officers responded to the 100 block of West Yukon in reference to a recovered stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 49-year-old female, who advised she had observed Peasley driving her black 2004 Chevrolet Impala in the area of 52nd and Dixie.
While Peasley was being detained, he was found to have the car keys inside his pockets, which belonged to the stolen Impala. Peasley was transported to the Odessa Police Department and interviewed by detectives. Peasley admitted to driving the stolen Impala, which had originally been reported stolen back on 1-30-15 in the 4900 block of Lancaster. Peasley was charged and arrested accordingly.
27-year-old Alex Pollard
Odessa Police arrested Pollard on 2-20-15 at approximately 1400 hours for Burglary of a Habitation (Parole Violation Warrant) “2nd Degree Felony”. While patrolling the 1100 block of West 35th Street, officers observed a blue Ford Taurus parked in a no parking zone where a sign was clearly displayed.
The driver of the listed vehicle was later identified as Pollard. Investigation revealed Pollard had a felony parole violation warrant for burglary of a habitation. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Pollard was charged and arrested accordingly.
39-year-old Adam Levario
Odessa Police arrested Levario on 2-23-15 at approximately 1225 hours for Theft of Property with at Two Prior Convictions “State Jail Felony” and for a misdemeanor warrant. Officers responded to 2450 NW Loop 338 (Wal-Mart West) in reference to a shoplifter.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Wal-Mart personnel, who advised they observed a Hispanic male steal and conceal items and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for them. The suspect was identified as Levario. Officers reviewed surveillance video which was consistent with the Wal-Mart employee's statement.
Investigation revealed Levario had multiple prior convictions for theft, all out of Ector County. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Levario was charged and arrested accordingly. The items, valued at approximately $41.74, were returned to Wal-Mart.
30-year-old Daniel Marquez
Odessa Police arrested Marquez on 2-21-15 at approximately 0320 hours for Possession of Methamphetamine “State Jail Felony”, Driving While Intoxicated “Class B Misdemeanor”, Driving While License Invalid with Prior Convictions “Class B Misdemeanor”, No Proof of Insurance with Prior Convictions “Class B Misdemeanor”, and for six local warrants.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Ada in reference to a crash. Investigation revealed that tan 2004 Lincoln LLS struck a white 1998 Ford F-150, which was parked. The driver of the tan Lincoln was identified as Marquez. Marquez was placed into custody for driving while intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests.
While conducting an inventory of his property, officers located a white powdery substance, which tested positive for methamphetamine. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Marquez was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.
47-year-old Charles Lewis
Odessa Police arrested Lewis on 2-22-15 at approximately 1150 hours for Possession of Cocaine “State Jail Felony” and for six outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers observed a black 1998 Ford Mustang traveling westbound in the 1300 block of East 5th Street with a defective tail lamp.
A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Lewis. A warrant check revealed Lewis had six warrants and he was placed into custody. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered five crack rocks. Lewis was charged and arrested accordingly.
