ODESSA- An Ector County Sheriff's Deputy, involved in a shooting, has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Back in December, Authorities tried to pull over 25-year-old Jake Craft, who was suspected in a game room robbery.

The report says he took off and a chase began.

Ector County Deputies helped out in the pursuit on Interstate 20

Deputy Abel Sanchez tried to stop the pickup by shooting at the back tire, but Craft kept going.

The report says at one point, Craft tried to run the deputy's car off the road.

That's when Sanchez fired again and hit Craft in the hip area.

Craft came to a stop and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Craft faces several charges.
