HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs man is behind bars after driving high with an infant in the car.

Police found 21-year-old Gerardo Guadalcazar in his car in the Dairy Queen parking lot and a baby in the backseat.

There had been a call to police that an SUV matching his car's description had almost caused two accidents.

According to the report, Guadalcazar has slurred speech and blood shot eyes.

A package of Spice was found on him.

He admitted to smoking the drug before driving the car.

Guadalcazar was arrested and the baby's mother came to get the child.
