MIDLAND - The Veteran's Association at Midland College received a special gift on Monday.
A U.S. flag and a Texas flag was donated to the group.
It's all thanks to the Midland Magna Charta Dames and Barons.
The Veteran's Association says they were in need of the flags but just didn't have enough funds.
They tell NewsWest 9, they're absolutely grateful for the generous gift because in the past they had to borrow flags for events.
"So, it's a pretty big deal today, getting our own flags. We're going to present these nice ladies with a certificate just saying, we thank them," Michael Gutierrez, President of the Midland College Veteran's Association, said.
