ODESSA – One man is dead and two others were injured following an evening accident in Odessa.
The accident happened at the intersection of North County Road West and University at 8 p.m.
According to the report, a gold 2005 Toyota RAV4 was stopped facing southbound waiting at a red light along with a 2013 Toyota 4 Runner behind the Toyota.
That's when a Harley Davidson motorcycle, failed to control speed and hit the Toyota 4 Runner causing the 4 Runner to hit the RAV 4.
The driver of the motorcycle, 45-year-old James Bryan, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
We're told two people in the 4 Runner, 49-year-old Sophia Samaniego and her 15-year-old daughter, were taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into the accident continues.
