MIDLAND COUNTY – The Midland County Sheriff's Office conducted a game room bust in Midland County on Thursday.
Officials say after several months of surveillance and undercover work, they executed a search warrant around 2:30 p.m. for the 777 Game Room located in the 4300 block of Andrews Highway.
The Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, that employees were paying out cash to certain players which can result in gambling charges being filed.
According to the report, several players that were present and playing on the gambling machines were released.
One worker was also identified, questioned and released.
Overall, officials seized $5,263.00 in cash and seized 52 gaming machines.
The investigation is ongoing.
