HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs substitute teacher is out of a job after a loud argument with another teacher in front of students.
The Hobbs School District tells NewsWest 9, Eva Marie Abbott was a substitute high school teacher.
According to our NBC affiliate in Albuquerque, Abbott and another teacher got in a fight on campus during school hours about a movie.
Abbott claims the other teacher walked into her room and called her a thief and a liar in front of 25 students.
That's when yelling started and Abbott was fired.
KOBTV in Albuquerque tried reaching out to the other teacher but hasn't heard back.
The school district did not say if that teacher was disciplined.
