Odessa Eskimo Hut Robbed at Gunpoint, Search Underway for Suspect

ODESSA – Odessa Police are searching for an aggravated robbery suspect following an incident late Tuesday night.

Odessa Police were called out to the Eskimo Hut on 42nd Street, around 11:45 p.m.

When officers arrived on the scene, two store employees told police they were robbed at gunpoint.

An investigation revealed that a white male entered the store and pointed a semi-automatic pistol at one of employees and demanded cigarettes, all the cash from the tip jar as well as the money in the register.

The employees also reported that a black man was also present during the robbery but he didn't have a weapon and just stood there.

Both men fled the scene in a black 2011 Ford F-250 bearing Texas license plate CYJ-6932. The employees stated that the truck had an ATV in the bed of the truck.

The first suspect is described as a white male with shoulder length red hair, approximately 35 years of age, approximately 6'2" tall, wearing a black tee-shirt with a red flannel shirt. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'9" tall, approximately 30 years of age, wearing a navy blue shirt.
