Midland Woman Accused of Punching, Stabbing Another Woman

MIDLAND - A Midland woman is behind bars for allegedly punching then stabbing another woman.

31-year-old Amber Schenck is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the affidavit, she got into a fight with a woman in a parking lot.

The report says Schenck punched the woman several times, causing a large cut on her face and then Schenck stabbed her.

The woman was taken to the hospital and had a punctured lung.

Schenck admitted to police that she did punch the woman and a ring on her finger caused the cut.
