40-year-old Hector Ybarra

Odessa Police arrested Ybarra on 1-30-15 at approximately 0841 hours for Tampering with Physical Evidence "3rd Degree Felony", Failure to Appear – Child Support "Class A Misdemeanor", and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers observed a white 2003 GMC Sierra with expired registration and an expired inspection sticker at 7th and County Road West.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle at 10th and County Road West and the back passenger was identified as Ybarra. While officers were making contact with the occupants of the listed vehicle, they could smell marijuana coming out of it. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered marijuana near the back seat.

Officers searched Ybarra and located a bag of marijuana in his front right pocket. Investigation revealed that Ybarra had attempted to conceal some marijuana by placing it into a cup of coffee in the back seat. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Ybarra was charged and arrested accordingly.

27-year-old Ashlee Skinner

Odessa Police arrested Skinner on 1-30-15 at approximately 1342 hours for Theft of Property with Two Prior Convictions "State Jail Felony", False Identification – Fugitive From Justice "Class A Misdemeanor", a felony theft warrant, and a felony parole violation warrant.

Officers responded to 409 North Grant in reference to a theft. Dispatch advised a subject had stolen five bracelets, values at approximately $1750. While responding, officers located a subject matching the suspect's description, who was later identified as Skinner. The suspect initially gave officers a false name and false date of birth.

However, further investigation revealed the suspect's real name was Ashlee Skinner. Investigation revealed that Skinner had two felony warrants out for her arrest. Further investigation revealed Skinner had multiple prior theft convictions. Skinner was charged and arrested accordingly and the stolen items were returned to the store.

17-year-old Martiza Venegas

Odessa Police arrested Venegas on 1-31-15 at approximately 0014 hours for Possession of Cocaine "State Jail Felony" and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers observed a black 2008 Dodge Avenger run a red light at University and Dixie. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Venegas.

While making contact with Venegas, officers could smell marijuana coming from the listed vehicle. A female officer searched Venegas and located a bag of cocaine and a bag of marijuana concealed on her person. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Venegas was charged and arrested accordingly.

51-year-old Craig Burton

Odessa Police arrested Burton on 1-31-15 at approximately 0944 hours for Burglary of a Habitation (Parole Warrant) "2nd Degree Felony". While patrolling the 900 block of Snyder, officers conducted a subject stop on a subject, identified as Burton. Investigation revealed Burton had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Burton was charged and arrested accordingly.

45-year-old Israel Garcia

Odessa Police arrested Garcia on 1-31-15 at approximately 2301 hours for Possession of Heroin "State Jail Felony". Officers responded to 1500 South Grant in reference to a subject passed out in a gray Chevrolet Impala. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver of the listed vehicle, identified as Garcia.

Officers observed heroin in plain view on the floor board near the center console inside of the listed vehicle. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Garcia was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

44-year-old Andre Crayton and 18-year-old Alexa Bell

Odessa Police arrested Crayton on 1-31-15 at approximately 0854 hours for Possession of Cocaine "State Jail Felony" and for two misdemeanor warrants. Odessa Police also arrested Bell for Possession of Cocaine "State Jail Felony", False Identification – Fugitive From Justice "Class A Misdemeanor", and for two misdemeanor warrants.

Officers observed a red Dodge Ram run a stop sign at 8th Street and Crescent. A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Crayton and the front passenger eventually identified as Bell. When Crayton was asked to display his driver's license and insurance, he immediately became uncooperative and argumentative.

Due to the aggressive manner of Crayton, both occupants of the vehicle were asked to step out of the listed vehicle. While making contact with the front passenger, she gave a false name to officers and advised that she didn't know her social security number. Further investigation revealed the passenger's real name was Alexa Bell.

Officers searched the listed vehicle and both subjects were found to be in possession of cocaine. Dispatch advised both subjects each had two outstanding warrants. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, both subjects were charged and arrested accordingly.

35-year-old Tommy Hodge

Odessa Police arrested Hodge on 2-1-15 at approximately 0950 hours for Possession of Cocaine "State Jail Felony", Driving While License Invalid with Prior Convictions "Class B Misdemeanor", and for a misdemeanor warrant. Officers observed a green 2001 Chevrolet Blazer run a stop sign at Fitch and Laredo.
