LEA COUNTY, N.M. - Voters in Lea County, New Mexico will head out to the polls on Tuesday.
In Jal, the school board is proposing a $47 million school bond.
If it's approved, there will be a brand new elementary school, the main building at the high school will be renovated and a middle school will be built.
The main gym and old gym will also be renovated along with the high school cafeteria.
Over in Hobbs, voters will also have a say on a couple of school bonds.
Those bonds will help re-model and make additions to current schools in the district.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
