Midland “Peeping Tom” Arrested

MIDLAND – Midland Police have made an arrest in connection with a "Peeping Tom" in a Midland neighborhood.

Midland Police tell NewsWest 9, 37-year-old Alvaro Carrasco-Granado turned himself in to Midland Police on Friday afternoon.

An investigation revealed that since October, Carrasco-Granado had been entering into the backyards of residences in the 4400 block of Comanche Drive and peeking into windows while simultaneously performing lewd acts.

Midland Police say surveillance video generated several tips in regards to the case.

Detectives later located Carrasco-Granado and he confessed after being questioned.

Carrasco-Granado is in custody at the Midland County Detention Center.

He's facing six counts of indecent exposure and six counts of criminal trespass.

Bond has been set at $6,000.
