MIDLAND - An Andrews man remains behind bars in Midland after he assaulted a government employee.
It happened on Tuesday morning at Dismiss Charities on West Industrial.
When deputies arrived at the scene, witnesses said Ronald Wooten had assaulted an employee.
According to the affidavit, Wooten was angry and picking the door window to the front office.
When the victim went up to the lobby to calm him down, Wooten bent him over, pulled his shirt over his head and kneed him in the face.
Wooten was arrested for felony assault charges for the attack.
He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond.
