LEA COUNTY, N.M. - A Lea County convict has been found guilty of stealing guns and having them when he wasn't supposed to.
According to the report, 34-year-old Cody Little broke into Southwest Arms, a gun shop in Lovington back in 2011.
He stole several weapons including assault rifles.
Authorities got word that little was the thief and obtained a warrant for his home.
They searched it and say they found a rifle and a shotgun along with some ammo that belonged to the gun shop.
Little hasn't been sentenced yet but he could face up to 15 years behind bars for the crime.
