ODESSA - Ector County ISD will host another public meeting on Monday night over community engagement.
The district is looking for parents input.
The meetings come after House Bill 5 was passed last spring by the Texas Legislature.
It's all in an effort to make community engagement a top priority in schools.
At the meetings, the district is hoping to recruit people to serve on nine different sub-committees.
The committees will focus on different aspects of the community.
The second of four meetings is Monday night at Crockett Junior High.
The next meeting will be on January 15 at Goliad Elementary.
The last meeting will be on January 22 at Nimitz Junior High.
All of the meetings will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
