MIDLAND - A former Midland junior high teacher, accused of having an improper relationship with a student, has been found not guilty.

Jennifer Oneill, a former teacher at Goddard Junior High, was arrested back in February of 2013 on charges of indecency with a child and improper relationship between educator and student.

An assistant principal told police she thought Oneill and the student were in a relationship.

The student, who was 13 at the time, admitted to the relationship.

Oneill did claim the boy touched her.

She was found not guilty on both charges on Thursday.
