Fundraisers Scheduled For Children Injured in Accident

Fundraisers are being held for a crash that killed a seven year old boy and put his 12-year-old sister and 14-year-old brother in the hospital.

One fundraiser is a trap shoot on Saturday, January 17, 2015 sponsored by the Odessa Outdoor Gun Range.

Tickets are $20 dollars per person and there will prizes for the top three winners.

Another fundraiser is going to be at Riley's Bar and Grill this Saturday as they will selling barbecue plates for $15 from noon to 5 p.m.

Fundraising accounts have also been set up for the three young children.

Money raised will help pay for Brianna's medical expenses.

The deadly crash happened on Interstate 20, just days before New Year's.

Zachery Blake died in the crash.

His sister, 12-year-old Brianna Blake, was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital in critical condition.

She is still in a medically induced coma.

Zachery's brother, 14-year-old Nathan Blake, suffered several broken bones and a collapsed lung.

He has been released from the hospital.
