CARLSBAD, N.M. - Carlsbad Police are investigating after a bomb threat on Wednesday.
Carlsbad Police tell NewsWest 9, a subject contacted the Regional Emergency Dispatch Authority (REDA) and claimed a bomb had been placed inside the Wal-Mart in Carlsbad.
We're told the store was evacuated and closed while a search was conducted.
Following a search of the store, the store was searched and no bomb was ever found.
Authorities say a person of interest is currently being sought for further questioning.
