Ector County Deputies Searching For Two Aggravated Robbery Suspects

ECTOR COUNTY – The Ector County Sheriff's Office is investigating a weekend aggravated robbery.

The robbery happened in the 6000 block of North Golder at Magoo's Cotton Patch Lounge just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, two Hispanic males wearing ski masks entered the business and one suspect fired a shot into the ceiling and said “this is a stick up.” He then demanded cash and wallets from everyone.

Then, a second suspect walked up to the bartender and demanded cash. The bartender placed the money in a white plastic bag.

According to the report, as the suspects were leaving they lost their bag of cash and only managed to get away with one of the patron's wallets.

They then left the scene in a white SUV.

One suspect is described as 5'5” tall Hispanic man wearing a dark blue hooded zipper jacket and bright green pants.

The other suspect is described as a Hispanic man wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
