MIDLAND - Midland Crimestoppers need your help to track down an assault suspect.

The assault happened about two weeks ago in the 3300 block of Bankhead Highway.

The 28-year-old victim ended up having to get stitches because his lip was cut open.

He told authorities that he was on his way to work when he stopped at a red light behind a newer model white dodge crew cab dually with gold trim on it.

The truck turned after the light turned green and the victim went around it.

That's when the truck followed him to the driveway of his workplace.

Then a muscular Hispanic man about 5"10" tall got out of the truck and attacked the victim.

Crimestoppers are also asking for information about a burglary at the 7-11 on North Midland Drive.

Last month, a woman left her purse in the front of her car.

When she went back, she noticed that her purse was gone.

About 40 minutes later, a white woman with long dark hair went to the same store to pass a check that belonged to the victim.

After the check was passed, she left the scene with a white man in a white Ford F-250.
