Two Arrested After Shooting in Alpine

ALPINE – Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Alpine on Tuesday night.

The shooting happened in the 700 block of West Murphy just before 10 p.m.

According to the Alpine Police Department Facebook page, when officers arrived on the scene they found that several shots were fired into a home and one person was shot in the back.

That person was taken to Big Bend Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the report, officers arrested 21-year-old Robert Michael Hough and 24-year-old Johnny Demund Stewart on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
