MIDLAND COUNTY – A Copperas Cove man was killed in a morning accident in Midland County.
The accident happened on FM 1788 south of Highway 191 on Monday morning.
Midland Police are reporting a semi hauling a trailer was angled perpendicular on FM 1788 while attempting to back up into a business.
Then, for an unknown reason, a Honda vehicle traveling southbound on FM 1788 crashed into the trailer, passing underneath.
The driver of the Honda, 21-year-old Gage Tibbetts of Copperas Cove, was pronounced dead at the scene.
